Original lyrics
Translated lyrics
Before the king of Leon Ximena (Jimena) appeared in an afternoon and demanded justice for the death of her father. .... If a complete translation is required, the request should be put in front of the "comments".
Notes
This is an old ballad. Jimena appears before the King of Leon to demand justice in reparation for the death of her father at the hands of The Cid (XIth century). The kings solution is to marry Jimena to The Cid himself.
