Translation

My beloved, have you forgotten your favoured one,
sheltering beneath your
wings? Why have you sold me into bondage? Is there not
succour in the land for
those who seek you? Is there not a sign in Sier or on
Mount Paran or in Sinai
for your witness? And will my love be for you and your
longing for me? You
will give me Sier and the forests of Kedar as the gift of
your ancient first-
born, as a reward for the yoke of your service. All this
is for you alone, my
Redeemer and my refuge. Give me your strength because I am
yours.
